Iker Casillas and Piqué return with Uber Eats

For the second year in a row, Iker Casillas stars alongside Gerard Piqué in the new Uber Eats campaign, which focuses on the quirks and superstitions that are part of the way we experience football.

We all have a ritual when our team plays: always sitting in the same spot on the sofa, ordering the same food, watching the match at the usual bar or repeating whatever we did the last time we won.

Building on these small habits, the new Uber Eats campaign brings Iker Casillas and Gerard Piqué back together, reacting with humour to different superstitions and situations that any football fan can relate to.

Superstitions aren’t limited to the stands. Players develop their own pre-match rituals too. Iker, for example, used to put his socks on inside out before playing, a superstition that stayed with him throughout his career.

The campaign’s different pieces explore these particular ways of experiencing a match, from what we eat to where and with whom we watch it, while Casillas and Piqué bring the chemistry and humour that defined their previous collaboration with Uber Eats.

For the second year running, the two meet again off the pitch in a campaign that connects football, food and the small rituals that make every fan experience matches in their own way.
